Money will buy you a pretty good dog, but it won't buy the wag
of his tail....... At Happy Dogs we are proud of our work in rescuing
and rehoming dogs. Our aim is to ensure that every dog that passes
through our hands is rehomed in an environment which will ensure
they are loved, cared for and looked after. Here are our current
residents waiting for a suitable home. We only rehome in Hampshire,
Wiltshire and Dorset and we apply the highest standards of suitability

BOUNCER. Here
we have one of the nicest boys I have had for a long time .About
five years old very well behaved, Good with other dogs and
wonderful with people of all ages. We are looking for a home
where he will get all the attention and care he deserves will
make a really great companion.
HENRY Very pretty little dog cross Corgi Spaniel
about 4 years old. This little chap is looking for a kind gentle
home perhaps with one or two older people. He came into care
in pain with glaucoma and on the Specialists advice had both
eyes removed. It doesn't bother him and he has become a very
happy affectionate little chap and will make a wonderful companion
to an understanding person
LOLLIPOP - About a year old. Wants additional
training lovely temperament with everything about the size
of a large Collie but with no Collie in her. A mixture of Lab/Spaniel
and something else just a very good natured crossbreed. Would
do well at agility I would think. Very affectionate and eager
to please will make a loving and loyal friend
MITZIE Older small Jack Russell very nervous
comes with a bit of baggage but in the right environment with
the right people would blossom into a loving and loyal companion.
ISIS One year old Lurcher, Beautiful girl,
typical of the breed she is affectionate, loves the sofa or
the armchair doesn't like to get her feet wet. Not too good
with cats but fine with other dogs. Has been with us for some
time waiting for her special persons.
HONEY This
is a beautiful young dog just eleven months old. Too energetic
for the last owner so has come into care. Very affectionate
and quite obedient. Some training has obviously been given
but that would need to be carried on. She came in as a Victorian
Bulldog so again we are looking for a home with knowledge and
understanding of the breed and would need to know that further
professional training would be available for her.
JEFFREY Five
year old or thereabout Basset Hound of the Paul OGrady Show
fame, needs a home with experience
of Bassets. He is a very friendly kind dog good with other
dogs and people not very good with cats. You can see his experience

SALLY Young
Jack Russell typical of the breed, a bit bossy but loyal and
affectionate looking for an active home plenty of walks and
things to do Will enrich some
someone's life
SPARROW. Well what about Sparrow. a tiny little sit in your
hand tricoloured terrier cross. Full of beans and ready for
anything Will fill the house with joy and be your very own
mini-tornado!! But what fun you will have too
MILLY Another
fairly young little Jack gets on well with other dogs and is
typical of the breed . Needs a loving home of her own where
she can share her life with people that can give her the care
and attention that she deserves
FOXY. another
young dog in our care only seven months old. An absolute joy
cross Westie/Jack Russell with
the best of both breeds. Wonderful temperament very outgoing
and full of life. Will enjoy long walks in the forest with
the right committed owners.
HONEY an 11 month old Victorian Bulldog. At
least that was how she was described by the owner who brought
her in. She is absolutely fabulous with humans but after being
attacked several times does not mix easily with other dogs.
She has reputedly lived with cats and children. A fantastic
little lady
REGGIE about 11 months old still quite nervous
though not aggressive. OK with other dogs. We were told he
was a cross Border Terrier and Bearded Collie. Really beautiful
boy. Again would benefit from further training.
BARNEY - Well how can I describe this lovely
boy. About 4 to 5 years old an affectionate, calm and well-trained
chap. His owner has died so he is once again looking for a
home to share and in return will give much joy.
BOB is about 12 years old and has come into
care because his owners have developed an allergy which the
vet has told them is because of him. He has settled and gets
on very well with all the other dogs. He will join our band
of permanent dogs here but can be sponsored
DORIS who is a seven month old Shar Pei. Very
nervous to start off with, she was obviously not socialised
properly but once she gets to know you is a very loving playful
little soul. Gets on well with other dogs. Really deserves
a kind loving home having come into care so young through no
fault of hers.
